Role Overview

The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies for QalbyApp and its subsidiary, QIT Travel. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution to drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue across both companies. The ideal candidate is a creative yet data-driven marketer who can lead campaigns, strengthen brand identity, and align marketing activities with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the vision and objectives of QalbyApp and QIT Travel.
  • Lead the marketing team, providing direction, feedback, and professional development.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.

2. Brand & Campaign Management

  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual consistency across both companies.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, events, partnerships, etc.).
  • Ensure campaigns enhance visibility, increase engagement, and support customer acquisition and sales targets.

3. Digital Marketing & Analytics

  • Drive digital initiatives including content creation, social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and paid ads.
  • Manage websites and online presence for both brands to ensure strong performance and engagement.
  • Track campaign KPIs, analyze results, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Align marketing initiatives with sales, product, and travel operations teams.
  • Work with external vendors, agencies, and influencers to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Provide monthly reports on marketing performance and represent the marketing function in leadership discussions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven ability to deliver on KPIs and targets.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Project Manager to lead our Tech Division (covering Malaysia & Indonesia). This role requires strong project management, communication, and technical coordination skills to ensure all tech deliverables (apps, websites, landing pages, third-party platforms) are executed smoothly, on time, and within budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities while ensuring technical feasibility. This includes any app development and maintaining plan. (Malaysia & Indonesia)
  • Plan, monitor, and track project timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources (internal & third-party).
  • Oversee app performance (Android & iOS), troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime/crashes, and work towards high user ratings.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (tech, content, marketing, operations) to align goals and ensure smooth execution.
  • Review and proofread content for accuracy, style, tone, and consistency across app, website, and social platforms.
  • Act as a bridge between the Tech Team and Management/Assistant Manager to ensure clarity, accountability, and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and technical performance to management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to support successful project outcomes.
  • Create and maintain documentation, process maps, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure financial discipline by outlining budgets, tracking costs, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans to schedule key milestones, workstreams, and activities across platforms (apps, websites, landing pages, third-party tools).
  • Handle ad hoc tech-related tasks and project requirements across platforms (apps, websites, landing pages, third-party tools) for QalbyApp as well as subsidiary companies.

Key Responsibilities

QIT Travel Sdn Bhd (Main Focus – Sales & Customer Service)

Sales & Business Development

    • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle, from pitching and preparing proposals to handling negotiations and closing deals.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty, encourage repeat bookings, and generate referrals.
    • Actively follow up with leads generated through campaigns, events, and customer inquiries to maximise conversions.
    • Provide accurate and timely sales reports, highlighting trends, customer insights, and growth opportunities.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries via WhatsApp, calls, and emails.
    • Assist customers throughout the booking journey, including payments, documentation, and pre-departure arrangements.
    • Deliver professional after-sales support and ensure a seamless travel experience for every client.
    • Handle customer complaints with professionalism, ensuring proper service recovery and improved customer satisfaction.
    • Support the operations team during group departures and on-ground activities when required.

Collaboration

    • Work closely with the digital ads manager to optimise leads and campaign effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales activities with promotions, product launches, and customer engagement events.
    • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of travel services.

 

QalbyApp (Supportive Role – Events, App Support & Merchandise)

App Support & User Experience

    • Respond to user inquiries regarding app features, functions, and issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
    • Conduct regular checks on app performance to help ensure a smooth and reliable user experience.
    • Escalate technical issues to the development team while maintaining transparent communication with users.

Event Support & Sales

    • Manage inquiries for monthly events via WhatsApp, email, and social media direct messages (DMs).
    • Assist customers with registrations, ticket purchases, and event-related concerns.
    • Convert direct inquiries into sales opportunities by promoting relevant packages or event add-ons.

Merchandise & Product Sales

    • Handle product-related inquiries from the website and customer communication channels.
    • Conduct cold WhatsApp outreach to previous customers and jemaah to promote new merchandise.
    • Support the marketing team with merchandise campaigns and ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service (preferably in travel, tourism, or lifestyle industries).
  • Strong communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Proactive, sales-driven, and able to work independently to achieve targets.

Qualification :

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, business or related field.

Task Description and Responsibilities

  • Search, compile, translate and review authentic content from various platforms (App, Social Media, website) in Arabic.
  • Perform research for articles, guides and other content that are assigned to you.
  • Liaise with individuals or particular bodies in the process of getting the right content or compiling them.
  • Support the Content team in daily tasks when there is a need to.
  • Carry out other ad-hoc tasks and projects when required and willing to work on certain weekends when we participate in booth opening at any events(allowance provided).

Requirements

  • Preferably students or recent graduates from Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic studies. Other candidates in related fields but have basic Quran and Sunnah knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
  • Good copywriting and editing skills in Arabic.
  • Ability to research and learn about a wide range of topics.
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication and organizational skills.
  • An eye for detail and capable of adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Diligent and resourceful.
  • Passion for writing and willingness to learn.
  • Portfolio of published work(if any).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with content management tools especially Google Office tools.
  • Interns will receive a Monthly Internship allowance.
